Holidays

There are so many places you can visit on holiday both here in the UK and abroad; choosing where to go for your holiday can be quite time consuming. We are here to help you decide where to go (especially with seasonal destinations), but for more information on passports, visas, vaccinations and the latest travel advice from the Foreign & Commonwealth (FCO) Essential Travel Advice click here. (It's worth remembering to review this advice regularly before you travel in case of changes to FCO's recommendations)
If you provide us with some basic information about the type of holiday you are looking for such as the type of weather and climate and the type of accommodation you are looking for we are then able to give you some great suggestions as to what would fit your criteria.

When choosing where to go on holiday the main things to take into consideration are your budget, how you intend to get to the destination and the weather of the destination.

Budget

Price is one of the biggest factors for all of us when deciding where we want to go on holiday. Some destinations will be cheaper to visit at certain times of year than others. You also need to consider whether to go self catering or room only to keep the costs down and give you flexibility to visit local restaurants or to include some or all of your meals and/or drinks to be able to keep to an overall budget. This is where Braunton Travel can help as we have a range of different types of holiday on offer and we will work with you to find the best one to suit your requirements.

Travelling

Depending on your destination you could fly, sail, drive or take the train. Our expertise and advice will help you in making this decision, even if you or someone you are travelling with is unwilling or unable to fly and are limited to certain destinations or holiday types.

If you travel by plane you can visit nearly anywhere, although you may be limited by routes offered from local airports.

Weather

The weather can be a big factor in where we want to go. Just because it is summer here, long-haul and tropical destinations' weather may be different. This is where our expertise can really help as we will be able to advise you on the climate for your chosen destination and whether your holiday dates are the best time to go there.
